As part of our continuing commitment to nurturing and supporting young people with potential and ambition in dance, we have launched our Jump Start programme.

Jump Start provides creative dance experiences for children aged 7 to 11 (Key Stage 2) living in Nottingham and supports our aim to nurture young people who have potential and ambition in dance.

These sessions are happening in Nottingham and will be coming to Birmingham soon.

When does it take place?

Classes take place each Monday during school term-time, 4.15 – 5.15pm

Autumn 2023

11, 18, 25 September

2, 9, 16 October (23 & 30 Oct no sessions/ Half term)

6, 13, 20, 27 November

Spring 2024

8, 15, 22, 29 January

5, 19, 26 February (12 February no session/Half term)

4, 11, 18 March

Summer 2024

22, 29 April

13, 20 May (6 & 27 May no sessions/Bank Holidays)

3, 10, 17, 24 June

How much does it cost?

The cost per session is £3/£1.50 (community offer ticket for those living in or attending primary schools in Sneinton or St Anns).
