Horizon is a vibrant performance showcase at Edinburgh Festival Fringe connecting visionary artists making work in England with international presenters.

Horizon is the Arts Council England commissioned performing arts showcase for England at the Edinburgh festivals. By taking a new approach to showcasing, Horizon aims to build deep and sustainable relationships between artists and international partners.

Horizon is steered by six consortium organisations (Battersea Arts Centre, FABRIC, Fierce, GIFT, MAYK and Transform), delivering a programme of artist support and development including:

— Artist bursaries
— Showcasing opportunities
— Onward touring support

 

Horizon’s showcase at Edinburgh Festival Fringe has been running for three years: online in 2021, in-person in 2022, and in-person again in 2023 with their most vibrant, boundary-pushing, and internationally connected programme yet.
