What was the Choreography Award?

The Choreography Award was an annual programme for artists at an early stage in their choreographic career, with some successful professional choreographic experience and an ambition to grow and further develop their practice. The programme enables experimentation and exploration of choreographic ideas in a supportive environment and is designed to enable a step-change for the artist.

What is CAT Yuva Gati?

Yuva Gati, meaning ‘Youth Movement’, is the national South Asian Dance strand of the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programme. It is delivered by FABRIC in partnership with Sampad Arts and Heritage.

CAT Yuva Gati is funded by the Department of Education Music and Dance Scheme, and assists 11-18 year olds with exceptional potential in Bharatanatyam and Kathak styles of dance, regardless of their personal circumstances, to benefit from world-class specialist training as part of a broad and balanced education.
