Fun and creative dance sessions for children aged 7 to 11 at our Nottingham studios.
With a focus on creativity and imagination, our Jump Start sessions offer something different for children interested in dance. Our sessions are led by experienced dance artists and packed with games, group work, and creative tasks to get everyone moving and exploring new possibilities.
As part of our continuing commitment to nurturing young people with a passion for dance, Jump Start encourages young people to think outside the box and to create their own approaches rather than copying set moves.
No dance experience needed – just enthusiasm!

We believe dance is a fantastic way for children to build confidence, gain creative skills, and make friends. Try your first Jump Start session for FREE to see for yourself.

* Once you start Jump Start, you only have to register your child/children once per academic year.

*Available for those living in and/or attending school in the Sneinton or St Anns area.

FABRIC Space 2
Space 2 based in Nottingham and is one of the sites for FABRIC.
At Space 2 we hosts 3 accessible studios with spring floors. Limited parking is available outside Space 2 with public transport links via NCTX buses. Our building in Space 2 is accessible, if you require any more information regarding our accessibility please call 0115 924 2016.
Concessions are available to those who are:

- People on Universal Credit
- Emergency services workers
- NHS and social care sector workers
- Armed forces
ID may be required on arrival
Community offer tickets are available for those living in Sneinton or St Ann’s. We may request proof of address upon arrival.
You can purchase a community offer ticket for Little Movers and Jump Start.
Anything comfortable that lets you move freely. You can wear tracksuit bottoms, leggings & t-shirts for most classes. Please wear light-soled trainers or dance shoes (if you have them), black-soled trainers and stiletto heels are not allowed. Bare feet or socks can be worn for contemporary and yoga classes.
We recommend you come to the studios changed and ready to go as our changing facilities are currently unavailable.
We don’t have lockers at our Nottingham site in Space 2, however each of the studios have cupboard/shelves for your belongings, so please take all your valuable possessions with you into the studio.
Yes, please bring your refillable water bottle with you. You can take bottles with you into the studios.
You won’t be allowed to join a class if you’re more than 15 minutes late. This is because you’ll have missed the warm-up, which increases your chance of injury.
