East Midlands Dance Artist Network (EMDAN) have teamed up with WomanEwer and FABRIC to offer an Artist’s Day to the East Midlands dance artist community.

A great opportunity to take part in a workshop, enjoy a FREE lunch and some networking time as well as watch a performance from a brilliant company all in the same day.

WomanEwer is the winner of  The Chair’s Bursary – Performers of the Global Majority.  WomanEwer also received The Brighton Fringe Lauren Varnfield Memorial Award 2024 for Theatre.

The event is free with three elements.  You can take part in one, two or all three but you will need to book separately for each using the links below.

Workshop with Laura Kenyon  |  10am till 12.30pm

Centred around themes of the performance and Laura’s processes in creating J’ai une Bleu. Led by Laura Kenyon (Artistic Director of WomanEwer) and company dancers.

Networking Lunch  |  12.45 till 2.45pm

Lunch plus short discussion led by EMDAN Coordinator Sarah Butler, around current and future needs of our regional dance community and how EMDAN can offer support.
