Keep Moving is the next phase of FABRIC’s commitment to the Critical Mass project legacy.

With that comes a host of exciting events & performances from July 2024 – March 2025, as part of the new performance strand of activity.

What is the Performance Strand?

Without a regular large-scale cultural event such as the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games or Birmingham Festival 23, FABRIC and United by 2022 recognise that it is difficult to find moments to showcasing talent to an audience.

As an extension to the Keep Moving project, FABRIC are curating a performance strand programme that enables the Keep Moving groups to tap into opportunities throughout the year to perform and present their work. This could be a new presenting platform entirely, or the support to access an existing local or regional opportunity.

FABRIC will also be investing in Artist Development for emerging disabled choreographers to enhance disabled leadership and employment potential across the region.

The following events are hosted either by FABRIC, Keep Moving Delivery Partners, or other inclusive organisations that we are connecting with through the Keep Moving project.

Please get in touch with Sophie Humphries, Engagement Producer, if you have any questions about any of the events, or contact the delivery organisation directly via the Key Information section.
