East Midlands Dance Artists Network Open Class
Mon 14th Sep 2026 to Mon 7th Dec 2026, various times
Monday
East Midlands Dance Artists Network (EMDAN) Open Class is contemporary based, although those practicing other styles are welcome. An inclusive class where options/adaptations are given for those who wish to attend.
Having some practical contemporary dance experience is ideal, the class is primarily aimed at dance professionals working in the industry, as well as across a wide range of creative disciplines, and those in professional training.
EMDAN’s programming for this class enables a pool of artists to lead class, normally for a two-week block. EMDAN also aim to programme at least one guest artist each term; either a company who is touring/ performing in the East Midlands or a practitioner with a specific skill set that is of particular interest to the EMDAN network.
This enables the East Midlands dance community to experience class with a wide range of talented artists across a variety of practices and styles.
