Welcome to Roots & Reels, Nottingham ecology film festival!  

We have set out a call for Nottinghamshire-based people and projects using film as a medium to celebrate ecology, raise awareness and inspire climate action… and people have answered!  

Enjoy a programme of a diverse selection of local short films, from the quirky and poetic, to the documentaries and narrative in style, interspersed with moments to share, chat and reflect.  

Doors will open from 6:45pm, please arrive early for a prompt start at 7pm.

This is a small voluntary-based festival organised by Usha, Nottingham-based mixed media and movement artist, and Raffa of Mammoth – A Climate Action Cinema. This is our first run, and we are curious to see what is growing in our backyard!

Fabric Space 2

Space 2 based in Nottingham and is one of the sites for FABRIC.

At Space 2 we hosts 3 accessible studios with spring floors. Limited parking is available outside Space 2 with public transport links via NCTX buses. Our building in Space 2 is accessible, if you require any more information regarding our accessibility please call 0115 924 2016.
