Join Sophie Thorpe from Tom Dale Company to explore some of the techniques that underpin contact improvisation in a relaxed, fun and nurturing environment.

In this class you’ll focus on building trust and a heightened awareness, listening and responding in the moment. This will be an opportunity to find new connections, both in the body and with others as together you fall into motion, momentum and flow, leading into a jam to finish the class.

While the session is open to everyone aged 18 and over; prior experience of moving with others in a dance setting would be helpful. This session is ideal if you dance already and for those of you wanting to deepen your contact improvision practice.
