Nottingham Young Creative Awards (YCA) champions creativity and is an opportunity for 11 to 24-year-olds living, working or studying in Nottingham to submit their work to one of ten categories.

This year’s submissions to the Dance Category were of a high standard and the panel enjoyed watching each entry and finding out more about the wealth of dance talent within the city.

After much deliberation, the panel selected three applications to be shortlisted and three as this year’s YCA winners across three age categories:

Age 11 – 15 Category

Shortlisted: Lily Reyes

Winner: Elizabeth Atkinson

Age 16 – 18 Category

Shortlisted: Flora Hawker-French

Winner: Samuel Onwuteaka

Age 19 – 24 Category

Shortlisted: Izzie Lister

Winner: Hannah Alvey
