A weekly open contemporary class led by East Midland Dance Artist Network (EMDAN) in 3 counties including Nottingham.

The sessions will be led by local dance artists and on occasion invited guest artists that are in residence at iC4C. Classes will offer the opportunity to move together in a safe and supportive environment working on different focus depending on the tutor. Please note that the named tutor may change in the case of illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

Booking in advance is recommended

Online booking: Booking online in advance is recommended and it will close 15 minutes after the class start time. Please ensure all personal information is entered correctly when booking your class.

In-person: Tickets can also be brought on the day at reception, contactless payment is preferred and you should be aware tickets may have been sold out.

Refunds, Exchanges and Transfers: Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or transferred unless the class/event is cancelled by us.

Can I purchase a concession ticket?

Concessions are available to those who are:

Over 60s
Students
People with disabilities
People on Universal Credit
Emergency services workers
NHS and social care sector workers
Armed forces

ID may be required on arrival

Can I purchase a community offer ticket?

Community offer tickets are available for those living in Sneinton or St Ann’s. We may request proof of address upon arrival.

You can purchase a community offer ticket for Little Movers and Jump Start.

Can I get a refund?

Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or transferred unless the class/event is cancelled by us.

What should I wear?

Anything comfortable that lets you move freely. You can wear tracksuit bottoms, leggings & t-shirts for most classes. Please wear light-soled trainers or dance shoes (if you have them), black-soled trainers and stiletto heels are not allowed. Bare feet or socks can be worn for contemporary and yoga classes.

Do you have changing rooms?

We recommend you come to the studios changed and ready to go as our changing facilities are currently unavailable.

Do you have lockers?

We don’t have lockers at iC4C, however each of the studios have cupboard/shelves for your belongings, so please take all your valuable possessions with you into the studio.

Do you have water available?

Yes, please bring your refillable water bottle with you. You can take bottles with you into the studios.

15-minute rule

You won’t be allowed to join a class if you’re more than 15 minutes late. This is because you’ll have missed the warm-up, which increases your chance of injury.

We aim to make our classes accessible to everyone regardless of disability. Our facilities have:
