In this Breakin’ Foundations beginners workshop, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of breakin’ led by O’Driscoll Collective.

Guided by Jamaal from O’Driscoll Collective you will cover; basic footwork, foundational moves and the key concepts that make up this high energy style.

For this workshop no previous experience in breakin’ is necessary, just your energy and a willingness to learn/try. Jamaal will guide you step by step with the aim to leave you feeling confident as you progress.

Please note in the evening there will be a rockin’ session held outside the building from 6pm onwards. All are welcome.

Booking Information

We’ve recently moved to a brand new booking system. As part of this change, the first time you book a class or event since 1st April 2025, if you are a regular booker, you’ll need to register your account. you can do this with the same email as before. Who is it for?

For those who have some previous experience working with rhythm and floor work within breakin’ already. Suitable for ages 12 and over however those aged 12 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult within the workshop.

How much does it cost?

It’s pay what you can. All payments for this masterclass go towards future workshops/masterclasses. A workshop of this length and level normally costs an average price of £10 or more. 

What do I wear?

Anything you feel comfortable to move in. A pair of trainers and a hat in case we use our heads on the floor.

In all Breakin’ Foundation workshops and masterclasses by O’Drsicoll Collective, we always have experienced teaching support in the space to help with any questions and participant needs.
