Brum Pro Class is a non-profit initiative originally conceived by Birmingham Dance Network in 2014 and now delivered by partner organisation representatives and independent artists.

Brum Pro Class is managed by FABRIC and run by a Steering Group of partner organisations in the city, FABRIC, Birmingham Dance Network, ACE dance and music, Brazilian Cultural Centre and Autin Dance Theatre. Alongside 3 independent local artists who have an invaluable input into the decision making and planning of the scheme.

We are passionate about developing provision for dance professionals by providing a regular, consistent class, as well as events and workshops for the thriving professional dance community-based in the city and wider region.

Brum Pro Class operates on a self-financing model, the only sustainable way of making this possible. All participants have an ownership of the programme by paying for classes, which in turn enables our programme to develop from strength to strength and be sustainable in the long term.
