Tina Carter

Tina is a Nottingham-based educator, artist, and performer working within visual and performing arts. Her freelance practice nurtures the creative curiosity of people of all ages and experiences, delivering creative workshops for early years, primary, and SEN settings, as well as with adults in the wider community. 

She is an Early Years Dance Artist for the Canvas programme in Derby delivering Move Me! sessions in Family Hubs and is also Co-Director of When Women Gather CIC; bringing women together through inclusive, expressive arts. As a dance practitioner and performer, she loves to collaborate with others to help grow, develop and deliver an artistic vision. As a workshop leader, her goal is to share techniques and provide opportunities to build skills and creative confidence by creating safe, welcoming, and joyful spaces.
