Our social media activity is consistent with our values and goals as an organisation.

We use social media to share information about FABRIC and other arts organisations. This includes promoting our artist opportunities, classes, workshops and performances, and sharing the impact of our work. We also aim to engage with our followers through creative content, celebrating and providing a platform for dance across the Midlands, and promoting any services or opportunities that may be of interest to our audience.

Please Note

We monitor our social media channels during regular office hours. Our social media pages are not usually monitored during weekends and public holidays, and therefore responses will be delayed during these times.

Although direct messages on our social media channels are regularly monitored, we don’t usually prioritise messages received through our social media channels. If you have a specific question or concern that requires a specific response, please contact us directly at: info@fabric.dance

Behaviour Standards

We want to ensure that our social media channels provide a safe environment for those connected with FABRIC and those interacting with our channels.

Positive contributions are encouraged. We’ll be fair, just, and respectful and strive to make sure that our messages are accurate, and our facts are checked when relevant. If we make a mistake, we’ll promptly correct it.

Our audiences are welcome to share opinions, whether positive or negative, but we ask that you treat each other, as well as the individuals who manage FABRIC accounts, with respect and courtesy.

We will not tolerate the following:

• Bullying, harassment, or trolling
• Violence or hate speech
• Discrimination
• Offensive or illegal content
• False, defamatory, and libelous statements about an individual or organisation
• Unauthorised sharing of confidential information
• Copyright infringement
• Spam
• Repetitive messages with the intention to sell products or services

We reserve the right to remove any content that contains any of the above. We will report any messages that violate the terms of use of the relevant platform.

We will respond appropriately to any inappropriate online behaviour by investigating, addressing the matter, or reporting back as per the appropriate guidelines.

We’ll keep personal online presence private and secure, managing our personal information with care. We will follow the terms of use for the social media platforms we use, being considerate of others’ privacy and respecting confidentiality.
