FABRIC invites you to spend time in the Midlands with peers, sampling choreographic research and performance work from the region and beyond, plus network and discourse events along with some decent grub.

The Midlands has an established dance sector, and 2 years into the life of FABRIC, we want to invite you to come and join us to celebrate the rich offer, to learn about artist’s practice, explore opportunities through connection with artists, producers and presenters; and to hear about future investment for dance and choreographic research.

Talking, Thinking, Dancing is creating this space for presenters working in the region, the UK and overseas interested in dance. We’re working with Midlands based organisations, Dance Consortium, One Dance UK and several dance NPOs and independent artists to create a brilliant moment to delve into dance in the Midlands.

This event is aimed at industry professional from the dance sector who are interested in working with and presenting dance work. Due to a limited overall capacity of 50, we kindly request that only one person from an organisation registers for the event.

Please note: Tickets for One Dance UK (ODUK) panel debate (4.45 till 5.45pm) and ODUK Awards Ceremony (6 till 10pm) happening on Friday at the Patrick Studio are ticketed separately via One Dance UK here.

Tickets for Talking, Thinking, Dancing are £50. Once you’ve purchased your ticket you’ll receive an email from FABRIC to select the events (listed in the schedule) you would like to attend. You will need to complete and submit this form (online) to secure your attendance for each selected event.

Please note: The FABRIC office will be closed during the festive period. Anyone who purchases a ticket between Friday 20 December to Monday 6 January will be sent a form once the team are back in the office from Monday 6 January onwards.
