Following a hugely successful showcase in 2024, Here & Now returns in 2025 with a programme of six bold and brilliant tour-ready performances, curated via an open call and selection process.

The works selected for the showcase were those that were deemed by the panel to:

• have strong appeal to international multi-artform venues and festivals presenting contemporary performance
• challenge ideas about what ‘performance created in England’ might look like, in terms of formal innovation, or who is making the work
• reflect the diversity of artists working in England today

The final selection panel included Here & Now partners BAC, FABRIC and GIFT,  with representatives from British Council, Unlimited and international presenters from across four continents.

The 2025 showcase artists are:
