Nottdance is Nottingham’s festival of extraordinary dance, presenting choreographic ideas and works from the city and across the world.

The next edition will take place between Wednesday 8 October to Saturday 1 November 2025 (with programme focus each weekend).

As a site for experimentation since the late 80’s, Nottdance has, and continues to be, a context to explore new ideas and new approaches in dance and choreography. Sharing great works from artists whose home, place of work or international destination is Nottingham, offering performances, discussions, workshops and social events.

Inhabiting the city’s theatres, galleries, shopping centres and outdoor spaces, the works reflect and celebrate contemporary Britain, the world in which we live, and our communities near and far.
