• Your activity must resonate with FABRIC’s Curatorial Statement
• You are an independent artist working in dance, movement or choreography (not a National Portfolio Organisation)
  
• You are based in (and currently living in) the Midlands 
• You are aged 18 or over
  
• You are not a full-time (undergraduate or Masters) student 
• You are not currently in negotiation with FABRIC about another residency or artist support (this excludes Blank Space) 
• The activity you are proposing is self-funded, or is funded through other resources/funding* 
• Your activity will use our standard studio set-up. Details of our standard studio set up can be found here.

*No studio space can be held until any required funding is secured.

Requests for studio space In-Kind will be reviewed on a rolling basis and assessed on their alignment with the criteria above and FABRIC’s Curatorial Statement and priorities.

It’s expected that we will support 2 to 3 artists/collectives each quarter.

We have a total of 40 to 50 days available annually for this activity.

In the case you do not turn up or cancel last minute, you’ll be subject to a cancellation fee and will not be able to request another In-Kind space until the cancellation fee has been processed.
