Malik Nashad Sharpe

Malik Nashad Sharpe (b. 1992, New York) is an artist working with choreography. They create performances that are formally experimental and engaged with the construction of atmosphere, affect, and dramaturgy. Their work has been shown in festivals like American Realness (NYC), Fierce Festival (UK), NOW19 (UK), Festival for Alternative Theatrical Expression (HR), Submerge (NYC), and they have been supported by a wider range of venues and institutions like Arts Council England, The Marlborough Theatre, Canada Council for the Arts, a-n, Duckie, ArtsAdmin, Studio 303, New Queers on the Block, Theatre La Chapelle Scenes Contemporains, The Yard Theatre, Chisenhale Dance Space, amongst many others.
