Selfhood Practices is a gentle movement and creative session, designed to help those who live with long-term pain conditions.

Aimed to support recovery and create opportunities to meet others in a friendly environment. Sessions are FREE to attend with the option to make a donation. Tea and biscuits are provided.

  • 11am – 11:30am – Arrivals and refreshments
  • 11:30am – 1pm – Studio time
  • 1 – 1:30pm – Social and more refreshments

Please note: Benefits including Personal Independent Payment (PIP) shouldn’t be affected by attending these sessions, but if you have concerns please do get in touch with Jessica – jessica@fabric.dance or give us a call at our Nottingham site on 0115 924 2016.

iC4C

iC4C is the international Centre for Chroegraphy, based in Nottingham and is one of the sites for FABRIC. iC4C hosts 3 accessible studios with spring floors. Limited parking is available outside iC4C with public transport links via NCTX buses. iC4C is an accessible building, if you require any more information regarding our accessibility please call 0115 924 2016.

Concessions are available to those who are:

ID may be required on arrival

Community offer tickets are available for those living in Sneinton or St Ann’s. We may request proof of address upon arrival.

You can purchase a community offer ticket for Little Movers and Jump Start.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or transferred unless the class/event is cancelled by us.

Anything comfortable that lets you move freely. You can wear tracksuit bottoms, leggings & t-shirts for most classes. Please wear light-soled trainers or dance shoes (if you have them), black-soled trainers and stiletto heels are not allowed. Bare feet or socks can be worn for contemporary and yoga classes.

We recommend you come to the studios changed and ready to go as our changing facilities are currently unavailable.

We don’t have lockers at iC4C, however each of the studios have cupboard/shelves for your belongings, so please take all your valuable possessions with you into the studio.

Yes, please bring your refillable water bottle with you. You can take bottles with you into the studios.

You won’t be allowed to join a class if you’re more than 15 minutes late. This is because you’ll have missed the warm-up, which increases your chance of injury.

We aim to make our classes accessible to everyone regardless of disability. Our facilities have:
  • Disabled parking bays in the car park
  • Lift
  • Level access to all areas
  • Disabled WC/showers
  • Baby changing
  • Loop system in the studios
