Breakin’ Foundations with O’Driscoll Collective

A masterclass for those who want to learn, develop and reconnect with breakin’ as a hip hop art form.

Newcastle-based artist Connor Gribz will lead this indepth session sharing his approach to creativity, developing foundation and building a unique style.

The masterclass will cover some or all of the following elements of breakin: top-rock, footwork, transitions, variations, creativity, power & training concepts.

Who is it for?
Participants who are keen to learn, open to being physical, and have some previous experience working with rhythm & floor work. The masterclass is suitable for ages 16 and over.

How much does it cost?
It’s pay what you can with a minimum donation of £2. All donations go towards delivering future accessible masterclasses. A workshop of this length and level usually costs £20 on average.

What do I wear?
Anything you feel comfortable to move in. A pair of trainers and a hat in case we use our heads on the floor.

There will be experienced teaching support available in the masterclass to help with any questions and participant needs.
