A masterclass for those who want to learn, develop and reconnect with breakin’ as a hip hop art form.
We welcome Newcastle-based artist Connor Gribz, who will lead this indepth session sharing his approach to creativity, developing foundation and building a unique style. Find out more about Connor HERE.
The Masterclass will cover some or all of the following elements of breakin: top-rock, footwork, transitions, variations, creativity, power & training concepts.
Who is it for? – Participants who are keen to learn, open to being physical, and have some previous experience working with rhythm & floor work. The masterclass is suitable for ages 16+.
How much does it cost? – It’s pay what you can with a minimum donation of £2. All donations go towards delivering future accessible masterclasses. A workshop of this length and level usually costs £20 on average.
What do I wear? – Anything you feel comfortable to move in. A pair of trainers and a hat in case we use our heads on the floor.
