A FREE online business planning course for artists and companies, supporting you to strengthen your international strategy.

This self-led online course designed by FABRIC and Farnham Maltings will lead you through key elements of business planning, helping you take an entrepreneurial look at how you might achieve your aims.

Through our Dance From England and Farnham Maltings’ caravan international programmes, we collaborated on this opportunity to support independent artists and companies. Our online course helps you to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to work internationally.

The course is split into four sessions with practical recorded webinars, resources, and a workbook created in collaboration with Creative United:

  • Introduction and Determining Where You Are Now. Presented by Hannah Slimmon (Farnham Maltings) and Jim Hendley (FABRIC).
  • Defining Vision, Values, Purpose and Ambitions/Goals. Presented by Mairead O’Rourke.
  • Building Financial Resilience & Q&A. Presented by Becki Haines.
  • Budgeting and Cashflow Planning. Presented by Remi Harris.

You will receive the first session via email at 9am the day after booking, with the following sessions arriving weekly at the same time.

All the recordings are captioned in English.

Please note: The webinars are archive videos from a course delivered live, re-presented for this course. There may be occasional references to a live audience and an opportunity for mentoring by Creative United that has now passed.
