Continuing their research into the resonance of acoustic spaces Neil and Simone will work at different sites across the city and in the studio at iC4C.

Working with a gong, its resonance in different spaces and the effects on the body Neil & Simone will use this time at iC4C to develop a score that can be presented in different contexts.

Present Resonances is born out of a deep interest in resonance, both as a sonic phenomenon and metaphor for how we understand what lingers in a body. Sound is made through movement and this project will explore how bodies create sound and resonate in the surrounding environment.
