Dan Daw will be our first artist in residence for 2020. He will be joining is for 3 weeks between Monday 6 January – Sunday 26 January.

During his residenncy with us Dan will be developing his new work, The Dan Daw Show. Often referred to as in inspiration to people simply for getting out of bed in the morning Dan questions this and feels a loss of power from this. Dan’s new work interrogates his newfound relationship to power and explores his loss of power because he is a ‘Crip.’

As part of his residency Dan will be leading an in-coversation discussion with show director for The Dan Daw Show, Mark Maughan. The in-conversation discussion will be specifically aimed at D/deaf and/or disabled people engaging in the arts words as performers/directors/musicians/film makers/visual artists or writer both recreationally or professionally.
