We help to prepare students for careers in dance, giving in depth information about further training and progression routes.
Fabric’s Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) alumni have gone on to further their dance training at institutions such as Trinity Laban, London Contemporary Dance School, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Bird College, Tring and Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
Many of the CAT graduates have gone on to have professional careers with companies such as Tavaziva Dance Company, Luca Silvestrini’s Protein Dance, 2Faced Dance Company, Compagnie Thor and Cullbergballeten Dance Company.
After training on CAT, I choreographed work as a part of One Dance UK’s Young Creatives program in 2022, and then graduated with a First-Class Honors in 2024 from London Contemporary Dance School. In the past few years I have worked with Simone Mousset, Brooke Sorensen, and Divya Kasturi. I currently work as a teacher, studio assistant, and performer in various settings and have been supported by Creative ReWork, The Turing Scheme, and Escola de Dança da Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia in developing my creative practice in Salvador, Bahia.
