Harriet Ellis

Harriet is a freelance dance artist based in the Midlands. She has worked internationally as a professional dancer, performer and/or rehearsal director for companies including Rosie Kay Dance Company, Balbir Singh Dance Company, Keniesh Dance Company and Lisa Simpson Inclusive Dance. She was also a dance leader for the Commonwealth Games Handover Ceremony, and features in a televised BBC arts short film. This year, she has also began her journey as a developing choreographer, and was commissioned by Rosie Kay to create a her own dance piece, and has been funded by Arts Council England and mentored by award-winning choreographer ‘Gary Clarke’ , to develop her choreographic practice.’ Harriet also has passions for Hip Hop dance and fitness, and enjoys camping, adventure and travel.
