Our aim is to work with trusted partners to ensure that every child in the Midlands has the opportunity to experience dance in school.
We research and pilot initiatives that support the development of a skilled workforce, enabling the delivery of high-quality dance education and recreational dance opportunities. Dance should, by its nature, be inclusive, and our commitment extends beyond increasing the number of schools delivering dance to improving how it is experienced.
Working directly with schools, academies and trusts, we support the embedding of dance both within and beyond the curriculum. Through high-quality CPD, teachers, practitioners and artists gain the skills and confidence to deliver inspiring dance experiences in education settings.
Recognising the need to strengthen access to dance education and progression routes, we also lead research into the barriers facing the sector, testing and piloting innovative solutions to create a more equitable and inclusive approach. This includes building stronger relationships with private dance providers and further and higher education institutions.
