Celebrating Dance at the Nottingham Creative Awards 2025

We’re thrilled to announce the shortlisted entries and winners of the Nottingham Young Creative Awards 2025 – Dance Category!

Each year, the Young Creative Awards spotlight the next generation of talent across Nottingham, and this year’s Dance Category was bursting with innovation, passion, and originality. From powerful solos to collaborative group works, the entries showed us just how bold, expressive and imaginative Nottingham’s young dancers are.

A huge congratulations goes out to all who applied – your creativity and courage to share your voice through movement is something to be celebrated. Whether you made the shortlist or took home a winner’s title, your contribution to the city’s creative spirit is invaluable.

The shortlisted and winning pieces were selected by a panel of dance professionals who praised the entrants for their inventive choreography, commitment to their craft, and powerful storytelling through dance.
