Waacking and Vogue Open

Thu 8th Jun 2023 to Thu 27th Jul 2023, various times

Thursday

Location: Birmingham
Venue: Level 5 Studios

The class will run Vogue and Waacking on alternate weeks, led by Eric Scutaro.

Waacking was created in the LGBT clubs of Los Angeles during the ‘70s disco era. Distinguished by its rotational arm movements, musicality, posing and emphasis on expressiveness.

Voguing is a highly stylised, modern house dance originating in the late ’80s. Today it’s a global phenomenon with three distinct styles: Old Way; New Way and Vogue Fem

Both styles encourage a community which help create safe spaces, confidence, security, attitude and positivity.
