This 3 hour workshop is an introduction to contact improvisation led by Tom Dale Company.

Contact improvisation is a partner dance form that explores shared weight, momentum and different points of contact.

This introductory workshop to contact imporvisation is an opportunity for you to learn contact improvisation skills in a relaxed and safe setting. Contact improvisation is a practice which helps you build a sensitive and responsive physical awareness. Towards the end of the workshop you have the option to put those skills into practice with a mini ‘jam’ at the end. Breaks will be included throughout the workshop.

Suitable for those new to contact improvisation and those looking to refresh their skills. This workshop is for those aged 18 and over.
