A networking day bringing together regional dance artists to our Nottingham site at iC4C.

Professional Class with Sarah Butler
Sarah’s class focuses on breath, space and intention and includes set and improvised material with plenty of option for self-interpretation. Sequences focus on transition in and out of the floor, core strength and travelling through and around the space. From a performance perspective, Sarah likes to play with break/suspension, imagery and relationship to others in the space to offer varying intention and dynamic possibilities to the movement material.

Informal Networking Lunch
The lunch will be an opportunity to learn more about our work at FABRIC and what support we can offer freelancers working across the Midlands. A part of this lunch is hosted by FABRIC’s CEO and Artistic Director, Paul Russ, as a moment to hear where we are with our new organisation, what is happening with our programmes and about the future of FABRIC. There will be moments to contribute to the conversation and raise thoughts or questions. Lunch will be provided and we’ll be in contact to take any dietary requirements. Vegan options will be available but please feel free to bring your own lunch if you prefer.

Please note booking for the networking lunch will close at the end of the day on Monday 27 November. This is so we can arrange requested dietary requirements in time.

EMDAN Meeting
An open meeting for freelancers in dance from across the East Midlands. EMDAN will share how others can join the network and/or take a lead on areas of work by joining the Steering Group. You can find out about what has been done so far and also contribute towards and share future ambitions.
