Are you a dance professional interested in outdoor arts? Come and join us at Derby Festé 2026.
Derby Festé is a free outdoor arts festival taking place across Derby’s city centre, returning on Saturday 26 September. Fabric is working in collaboration with Festé once again to support the inclusion of Midlands Based Dance Artists within the festival programme.
Come and join Fabric for an informal networking session, and connect with other artists, programmers, and organisations present, ahead of taking a pathway through this year’s festival programme together.
Bursary information
Artist Bursaries: Ten bursaries of £100 are available for Midlands-based independent dance artists / producers to support attendance.
Industry Network Gathering: An informal session with the opportunity to talk to Fabric colleagues, and other peers in attendance about you and your work.
Free live works at Derby Festé: Including 2Faced Dance, Sonia Sabri, Lea Anderson, Company Chameleon, Jen Malarky and many more.
Bursary eligibility:
- You are a professional artist/company or producer working in dance
- You live and work in the Midlands
- You are interested in touring outdoor work
- You have some experience of touring outdoors
- You are available to attend the 26 September 2026 from 11am – 6pm in Derby.
The 10 bursaries will be awarded in order of eligible applications.
The time commitment to the bursary place is 11am – 6pm in Derby but you’re welcome to stay later at the festival if you desire.
