We love hearing from our Dance4 Centre for Advanced Training alumni and what they are up to! We were delighted to learn Alumni Ruben Brown is currently touring and will be here in the East Midlands this month.

Ruben joined the Dance4 CAT programme at the age of 13 and completed his training with us in 2014. He went on to train full time at London Contemporary Dance School and graduated in July 2017. Since graduating Ruben has performed for Frauke Requardt & David Rosenberg in their production, DeadClub then moving on to working as a company dancer for Thierry Smits’ Compagnie Thor.

This year Ruben is back with Frauke Requardt & David Rosenberg and currently touring with their new work Future Cargo.

Ruben says of the work:
“Future Cargo is a transformative universe layered with many dimensions. It can transport anyone who watches it out of this world to a place of fun, joy and intrigue. The process of creation has been meticulous and detailed which has resulted in a truly beautiful spectacle and experience.”
