FABRIC’s Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) delivers free dance workshops for secondary schools in both the East and West Midlands.

Schools have the opportunity to host a free workshop for students who show potential in dance and who may want to explore what the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programme can offer. Workshops are led by one of our CAT artists and are aimed at years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

A workshop for either Contemporary or South Asian styles can be arranged to take place during term time within school hours between November and May each year.

This is a great opportunity for students to find out more about the CAT programme and the training that is on offer.

Sessions

Workshops are 2 hours in length and can accommodate a maximum of 30 students and a minimum of 10.

These could be made up of two 1 hour sessions with different groups or the same group for 2 hours. If you would like longer then please let us know in your booking form.

A Teacher must be present at all times during both types of sessions.

For any queries or questions, please email Cara Verney at catadmin@fabric.dance
